SLHS Athletic Booster Club

Summer 2010 will be the 17th year that South Lakes has run a basketball camp for girls. Our camp is an informative week of basketball fundamentals, teaching and building of self confidence, individual skills, and team play.  We welcome players of all skill levels.  All players will receive individualized instruction.  Camp instructors include SLHS Varsity Girls' Basketball coach, Christy Winters-Scott, experienced high school coaches, as well as high school/college players.

 

This is Coach Scott’s fifth year as the Seahawks Camp Director. Coach Scott has 16 years experience as a NCAA Division 1 player and coach (George Mason, Maryland and Georgetown).  Coach Scott is a long-time resident of Reston and resides here with her husband and three young children. Many former campers have gone on to play collegiate basketball in Division I, II and III schools.  Be sure to sign up soon - space fills up quickly!

 

Camp Information:

Dates:       Session 1 - July 6 - 9, 2010, Session 2 - July 12 - 16, 2010

Time:        Session 1 - 9:00am - 3:00pm, Session 2 - 9:00am-2:00pm

Location:  South Lakes High School Gymnasium

Ages:        7 - 16

Cost:         $105 per camper (2 siblings - $195, 3 siblings - $285)*

Each camper will receive a camp t-shirt * Participatory awards given on last day of camp * Championship teams will be awarded a trophy * Daily givaways!
